The Pearl-Qatar is situated off the eastern shore of Qatar Doha approximately 20 kilometres north of the downtown business district of Doha and directly north of West Bay. The island of Marsa Malaz is located in the centre of the bay within the Costa Malaz character area.

The architectural style of the hotel is modern Arabic Venetian style. The colours and the tones of the hotel are reminiscent to the Venetian buildings with the soft muted beiges, creams and sand stone colours.
