Museum of Ireland, Eileen Gray Exhibition

Museum Lighting

The Museum of Ireland is located in Dublin, with a strong emphasis on Irish art, culture and natural history. Visual Energy produced a specialist interior lighting design for the late Eileen Gray Exhibition in the National Museum of Ireland.

Eileen Gray was an Irish Avant Garde interior designer of the Art Nouveau period who resided in Paris and upon her death the Irish Government purchased her estate and decided to make a permanent exhibition of her work at the National Museum of Ireland. Visual Energy created a interior lighting design which carefully positioned and focused spotlights and track lights to highlight models, furniture and artwork. Additionally, we created an illuminated tiled floor light installation which formed a dramatic space as a backdrop to some of the furniture pieces.

Visual Energy specialise in sustainable lighting and interior lighting design. For inspiration, view our portfolio, and contact our lighting design studio for more information.
